I'm so excited to have you here!

I'm FIONA and I started THE RABBIT ROOMS SMALL ANIMAL BOARDING service in Dublin in 2014, when we couldn’t find someone experienced with rabbits to care for ours while we went on holiday, and we figured other people must have the same issue!!

It turns out, they did!

Now I care for hundreds of bunnies each year (plus guinea pigs, hamsters, pet rats, gerbils, hedgehogs, lizards and tortoises!) with the help of my husband Ciaran and my daughters.

I offer Ireland’s only Professional Rabbit Bonding Service as well as helping people online around the world bond their bunnies themselves.

During Covid, there was no boarding needed as no one was travelling and I began doing bunny and guinea pig care classes online for my lovely customers, answering the questions I heard every day from them and also on the Facebook groups I moderate on. This was the start of Fiona’s Happy Bunny Club & Happy Guinea Pig Club as I wanted to put all my classes in one easy to access place and to create an amazing community of like minded bunny/guinea pig lovers!

WHY LEARN FROM ME?

I have been keeping rabbits and guinea pigs for 30+ years, and we now have many rabbits and guinea pigs of our own, some of which are rescues (which is why a few more staying on their holidays doesn’t make much difference!) and so we started The Rabbit Rooms Small Animal Boarding in 2014 and now care for hundreds of small furries while their owners go on holiday as well as providing rabbit and guinea pig grooming, nail clipping, and Ireland's only Bunny Bonding Service!

I spend a lot of my spare time helping pet parents with their care questions both on the Facebook Rabbit and Guinea Pig Groups I manage, and in person with our lovely boarding customers. My knowledge and experience has meant that rescue centres, vets and pet shops refer their clients to me if they need some extra help on rabbit bonding, animal behaviour or husbandry.

As you can see, I am happy to talk about fur babies all day long!
